Guess What...I've Been Back to Goodwill

Ok... I know I said I've got to quit buying fabric, but when I find it at the Bins, I MUST get it. I can't help myself. It's a problem. I should be sewing more and shopping less. And I will, I promise. hehehe

Since the damage is done this time, let me show you the bargains I got this week.

There was a lot of fabric this week, all vintage, which I adore. I also found a couple of zippers (always useful) and some sparkly, vinyl cording. I have NO idea what I'll do with that, but it was pretty and interesting so I snagged it.

I LOVE this bumblebee fabric. There was about a half yard and I'm thinking I'll make a bucket hat with it.

The Texas fabric was a real find for me since I live in and love the Lone Star State.

And, there were several vintage Debbie Mumm fabrics which I will definitely use for something.

Since my scrap buckets are about to pop like a woman 9 months pregnant with triplets, I decided to go ahead and cut this load down into precuts as much as possible. I ended up with:

  1. A dozen pieces of yardage ranging from a half-yard to five yards
  2. 10" squares
  3. 5" squares
  4. 2.5" squares
  5. 1 pre-made binding (striped fabric almost always gets made into binding at my house!)
  6. A large piece of mini-panels that I'll make into a baby quilt
  7. And a very small stack for my bulging scrap buckets

Now, it's back to the sewing board... Until next time, keep it scrappy, y'all!
